Landscape Designer
Bobby, now a veteran designer with over a decade of experience, studied Horticulture and Landscape design at Fox Valley Technical College where he also worked creating a sustainable hydroponics garden that provided vegetables for the campus’s culinary arts students.
His creativity and knowledge of the construction process paired with his studies in landscape design allows him to push the boundaries in the field of landscape construction and design. His goal with any design is to entice a feeling when you walk into your new backyard oasis. Whether you are looking for a Modern clean look or a Classic design, his ideas will surpass your expectations.
“I love my job. It is such a rare opportunity to be able to create something that moves people in such a huge way. Every design is first fueled by excitement. Coming up with new ideas or ways to use material to get me to the final product, a sort of feeling that I am trying to draw from people when they step into the design. That feeling you get when you walk into a forest on a hike, it’s real. Theres a German word for it. It’s called “Waldeinsamkeit”. That deep rooted connection is what I am trying to achieve when I design. “ – Bobby Sotir
